Tootsie’s Trouble

I was cold, hungry, tired and I hurt all over. My previous owner threw me over someone’s fence into someone's yard.  I was just sitting there when a lady came out and walked over to the fence and tried to grab me. But I ran as fast as I could and got away from her. The next day, I was bleeding and exhausted. I went back to that fence and was so hungry that when the same lady came out to get me I let her take me into her house. I didn’t know what would happen to me but I knew it couldn’t get any worse. I was so scared that I started shaking but the lady didn’t hurt me instead she gave me food, water, and a nice warm bed to lie on. She tried to give me a pill and was mortified when she noticed that she could see my trachea. She immediately put me in a car and took me to a scary place. Of course, any place seemed scary to me. I had someone poking and prodding at me all over. They fixed me up.  Everyone didn’t think I would make it, but I was a fighter. I had sore feet and an eye infection in my left eye. Everyone kept calling me snow baby which kind of fit me since the breed of cat that I am is a snowshoe. It means that I am a Siamese and Burmese mix.   The kind lady who rescued me called a rescue and found me a new home with Melanie.  It took about two years until I finally felt comfortable and safe again.  Yes, this is a true story.   I was neglected and abused, but there is hope ... as I have found love and safety in my forever home!

Meet the Star Wars Crew ... Luke, Han, and Yoda.   They are a playful bunch who are awaiting their furr-ever home.   They are now 3 months old and are hoping they can find a human to curl up with.   They have had their first shots already.

If you are interested in adopting them, please contact us at adoptakittykat@
gmail.com.

A special thanks to all who donated items for the Yard Sale that I had back in April.   I am pleased to say that I was able to raise over $200 to help the kitties.   Believe it or not, that money goes quick!

Little Orphans Kitten Rescue focuses on helping orphaned and abandoned kittens by providing foster care, food, medical attention, and most of all LOVE, until they are adopted into a permanent, caring home.   More importantly, Little Orphans Kitten Rescue cannot do what they do without YOU and your support.   We are in need of the following items:   Coupons for cat food/litter, Fancy Feast Wet Food (Classic and Kitten), Fancy Feast Dry Food, Small Heavy Bowls, Baby Wipes, Paper Towels, Laundry Detergent, Clumping Cat Litter, and litter scoops.  Also, we accept gently used cat scratching posts, cat furniture, and cat beds.   If you can help us out in any way, that would be great.

Look for our next upcoming fundraiser - Thirty One Bags.   Hope you all are enjoying your summer.  Remember, spread the word and share the pictures so that these cuties can have a new home to call their own.

Meet the Jean Crew

Introducing ... Jordan (Mama), OshKosh (Female), Levi (Male), and Wrangler (Male). Mama and babies are growing well. Jordan is a good Mama who takes good care of her kittens. These beauties will be ready for adoption in about 4 weeks. They are currently 4 weeks old. They look like they will be medium hair kittens.

Thank you so much for all the GREAT donations that we have received recently. I have included a picture. These items were greatly needed and are appreciated.
